Angela Miller

Angela is proud to be working with the wonderful people at ACAP. Her passion for the performing arts developed very young, with numerous years of competitive dance and voice training. She went on to be in countless productions culminating in the opportunity to travel and perform with the internationally known, multi-cultural organization Up with People (UWP) where she also completed an internship with the production manager.

Upon returning from Europe, Ms. Miller has been seen as Mrs. Soames in Our Town at The Purple Rose Theatre Company. There she also worked on productions such as Boeing Boeing, Best of Friends a world premier by Jeff Daniels and Consider the Oyster a world premier by David MacGregor. Angela has also been on stage at The Tipping Point Theatre in The Cocktail Hour (Nina) and Months on End (Phoebe). One of Angela’s favorite roles was Franca Naccarelli in The Light in the Piazza at The Encore Musical Theatre where she had the opportunity to flaunt her “sassy Italian nature”.

Other theatre credits include; Seussical the Musical (Mayzie LaBird); Disney’s Beauty and the Beast (Madame de la Grande Bouche); Lilly’s Purple Plastic Purse (Lilly); Annie (Lily St. Regis); Orphan Train (Mrs. Leech). Film credits include; Little Red Devil and The Art of Power. Angela has been a featured vocalist for many Veterans’ events in her hometown of Dearborn.

Behind the scenes, Ms. Miller was Assistant Choreographer for Annie at The Young People’s Theatre of Ann Arbor. Angela also choreographed My Fair Lady for The Pinckney Players as well as Into the Woods while she performed the role of Cinderella. Angela was the Assistant Director for Pinckney Players’ production of A Christmas Story and Co-Leads C.H.A.T. (Chilson Hills Agape Theatre) at Chilson Hills Church in Brighton where she was the producing director of events such as, Expression Session and A Night of Vignettes. Ms. Miller continues to enhance her performing and directing skills by attending numerous workshops and classes at multiple professional theatre companies.

Angela currently resides in the Brighton area with her husband and their two beautiful children.
